Colson Baker, or Machine Gun Kelly, is known for his distinct way of rapping. Baker was born on 22 April 1990 in Houston Texas U.S. into an extended family of English Scottish and German descent. His parents, each missionaries took him to numerous trips throughout his childhood years. James Colson Baker, his father was suffering from depression as well as unemployment. Mother Sonia Alane had left him after he reached the age of nine. Following that Baker along with his father moved to Denver which was where they stayed together with his father's aunt. Baker was bullied by fellow kids because of his poverty. In the sixth grade, Baker began to listen to rap. Colson Baker popularly known as Machine Gun Kelly was born on April 22 1990 in Texas the U.S. His music is well known for mixing contemporary hip hop and alternative rock. Baker has recorded four mixtapes during the period between 2007-2010 prior to signing with Bad Boy Records. Late in 2011, the Cleveland artist soared to stardom after he transitioned from self-releasing his mixtapes to signing with respected labels. From there his career skyrocketed and each album charting in the top 10.
